so today was my first day at Uni, for induction. Feeling nervous and had a bit of a disturbed nights sleep last night, so tired this evening. It was a day of listening and taking in information which will underpin the next 3 years. There is more to come though. There's quite a bit of 'admin' in the background to remember although I'm sure in the couple of weeks it will be second nature.There's still lots of gaps and I haven't been able to work out the Uni web site for course details. Apparently the induction timetable was there but I couldn't find it. End of day thoughts:
first day - thought of it was exciting and daunting at the same time; I'm glad its done.
I'll be an old hand by the end of the week
Lots of youngster of course and yes am on the old side compared to them, but its not bothering me as there's plenty who are not straight out of school / college
looking forward to day 2 and the end of induction so the real fun can start

Uni Card
ok, so I don't know what is going on; I uploaded a photo for my Uni card several weeks ago but have just received an email from admissions saying it isn't there! I hope this isn't the start of more problems
